Jesus Navas praises Manchester City after securing £17m move

MANCHESTER CITY'S latest signing Jesus Navas has talked up the Etihad outfit after Sevilla accepted an offer for the winger that could be worth up to £24 million.

 

 
Jesus Navas has spoken of new club Manchester City in glowing terms following his move from Sevilla

Last night the La Liga club confirmed that a bid from Manchester City for the Spanish international had been accepted, which is thought to be £17m up front which could raise to £24m based on add-ons.

And Navas wasted no time in talking up his new team, after revealing his representatives had been discussing a move with the deposed Premier League champions since earlier this year.

"We've been talking with Manchester City for four months," said Navas. "The decision is taken.

"There had been rumours (about Real Madrid), but Manchester City were in from the start and I had decided some time ago. It's a good project and it was the moment to make the step
